Useful tools for needle felting
When needle felting there are different felting needles, needle holders and spare needles that you need, but some extra tools can be helpful. You should have this nearby:
- Awl - perfect for making holes in your work, making holes to attach pipe cleaners you use for tails or antennae/antennae for bumblebee/bee/moose
- Measuring tape - especially if you are a beginner and have to follow one of our recipes
- Cutter pliers - practical for cutting steel wire/pipe cleaners for fittings
- Pliers - bend steel wire or grab the wool to pull it out if you have felt too far in, pull out carefully
- Scissors - Always nice to have
- Tweezers - to remove grass/moss from wool, wool is a natural material and may have some debris in it.
- Sewing needle (preferably a long doll's needle) - to attach a tail, hem e.g
- Plaster . Nice to have in the house anyway
